How much does Community Solar cost?

Who qualifies for Community Solar?
- Low-to moderate-income (LMI) households: If you receive SNAP (food stamps), Medicaid, or the free lunch program for your children, you may qualify for community solar in IL, MASS, NY, and MD.
- Eligible households: You must also pay an electric bill and live in the service territory of a participating utility.
Affordable Connectivity Program
What is the Affordable Connectivity Program?
The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) is a government-sponsored program that provides discounts on broadband internet service and connected devices to low-income households. The program is administered by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and is funded by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
How does the A.C.P. work?
Eligible households can receive a discount of up to $30 per month on their internet service bill. Households on qualifying Tribal lands can receive a discount of up to $75 per month. The benefit provides free internet service for eligible households. Eligible customers can also receive a 4G Android tablet for a one time $20 copay.
How much does it cost to get started?
If you are approved for the ACP, you will not have to pay any upfront costs. The discount will be applied directly to your internet bill.
Why should I get set up with ACP?
- The ACP can help you save money on your internet bill. If you are a low-income household, you can receive a discount of up to $30 per month on your internet service bill. Households on qualifying Tribal lands can receive a discount of up to $75 per month.
Who qualifies for the program?
- Have an income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
- Receive a Federal Pell Grant.
- Participate in any of the following assistance programs: Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program or School Breakfast Program, Lifeline, Medicaid, SNAP, TANF, Veterans' Pension and Survivors Benefit, LIHEAP, HCV or Section 8, Public Housing, or Tribal Head Start.

How do I qualify?
QUALIFICATIONS FOR PAYABLE REFERRALS:
The determining factors to receive referral compensations:
1.Applicants must be at least 19 years of age or older. 2.Applicants cannot have other insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. 3.Estimated Income must fall within the below threshold for 2023. 4.Must upload a clear picture of the applicants Govt. Issued ID. This includes but not limited to a Driver’s License, State ID, U.S. Passport, Library Card & Military ID
